Terms and conditions

Review to win (March 2023)

  1. The Tell Me Baby ‘Review to win’ promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Tell Me Baby (as defined in our Terms and Conditions; company number 13328936).
  2. Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over excluding: a) management, employees, directors and contractors of the promoter, its related bodies corporate, firms or companies associated with the promotion (including suppliers of prizes); b) a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph 2(a) of these Terms, and the persons referred to in paragraph 2(b) of these Terms includes natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter) c) persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the promoter.
  3. The promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an eligible entrant in its absolute discretion.
  4. Online entry will open at 08:01pm on 1st March 2023 and close at 11:59pm (GMT+1) on 30th March 2023.
  5. Within 7 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries will be entered into an electronic draw. One entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted by email. 
  6. The final selected winner’s first name and first initial of their last name will be published on our website in connection with the promotion.
  7. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. All subsequent winners must respond to the notification email within 7 days of the date on which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize.
  8. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.
  9. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.
  10. The promotion is a game of chance.
  11. To enter, entrants must leave a review of participating products they have tried on Tell Me Baby.  The full list of eligible products is included here.
  12. Entrants will receive 1 entry for each eligible review of 50+ words left during the competition period. Entrants will receive 1 bonus entry for each written review accompanied by at least 1 eligible photo of the product in use. Entrants will receive an additional entry if their profile image is uploaded.
  13. Total prize pool is valued at £200. 2 winners will receive gift cards of £100 each.
  14. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the promotion period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. The promoter does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times during the promotion period.
  15. The promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner if it determines in its sole discretion that a winner does not adequately satisfy these terms and conditions.
  16. Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash.
  17. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
  18. The promoter and their promotional partners are not responsible for any loss or damage in relation to the prize once it has been awarded.
  19. If for any reason the promotion is incapable of being run as planned, including due to infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to take any action that may be available to it, including cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the promotion. Notice of any changes to the promotion will be given at http://tellmebaby.uk/giveaways.
  20. Any eligible entrant who, in the opinion of the promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, engages in any unlawful or improper conduct which jeopardises or is likely to jeopardise the fair or proper conduct of the promotion, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to receive a prize or enter further promotions run by the promoter.
  21. Your personal data will be collected and processed by us, as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.   
  22. We may hold your personal data for a period of 2 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations. 
  23. You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us or our Business Partners when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Business Partners (as applicable) will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see our Privacy Notice for more details). The privacy policies of our Business Partners will be made available at the point of opt-in. You can opt-out of communications from us or our Business Partners at any time. 
  24. We, the Business Partners and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
  25. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Notice before entering any Promotion.
  26. You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting community@tellmebaby.uk. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
  27. The Terms and conditions of this promotion are in addition to the Terms & Conditions of use of our website and services. Please ensure you have read and agree with our Terms & Conditions before entering the promotion.
